Asics Kinetic Playscape
Five rooms. One institute that never existed.
Some spaces are built to display. This one was built to disorient — in the best possible way. The ASICS Kinetic Playscape at Garage 21 was a five-chapter spatial sequence imagined as a fictional research institute, designed to move visitors from grounded to weightless, one room at a time.
Concept and direction by @nuovagroup, with Capsule. Our role was everything that happens between vision and experience.

Five distinct environments under one roof, each with its own logic and atmosphere. A sound system by Mateo Garcia integrated across the entire space — not as background, but as architecture. A fitting room, a talks area, a meeting zone, all running simultaneously across a press preview and three public days.

The retro-futurist surfaces weren't there to be admired from a distance. They were designed to be touched — which means every finish had to hold up to four days of hands, four days of motion, four days of a genuinely curious audience.
Building something that looks effortless takes exactly the opposite.
That part was us.
